Venice Beach, Los Angeles, CA

Hollywood Boulevard!

Guess who I found in Hollywood!

San Diego, California

Las Vegas, NV

Watching the beautiful fountains dance to the music at the Bellagio was amazing! The hotels are all in competition with each other to draw people in. One of the hotels has an erupting volcano, one hotel sinks a pirate ship outside every hour, one has tigers and dolphins, one has a full canal system and gondolas ... Vegas was quite an eye-opener! Marjie and I also went to see the Cirque du Soleil and thought that the Shanti Yoga School would have been impressed at their extreme flexibility!

Grubby Lambassador

Marjie says that I'm too grubby to take to Las Vegas. Quick wash and scrub up, I think!

Angels Landing, Zion National Park

This is the hardest walk Marjie and I have ever done! Steep climbs, rock scrambles and clinging to safety chains on the pathways. The last half mile is scrambling over rocks on an extremely narrow path with drops of up to 1000ft on each side. The views were worth it though! Here are some of my friends drinking in the impressive vista!

Horseshoe Bend

Safe Hiking

Over 250 people are rescued from the Grand Canyon every year and most of them are strong, tough hikers. I'm being extra safe with my factor 110 suncream, sunglasses and plenty of water full of extra electrolytes. This lambassador is going to make it back up the canyon alive!

I'm also trying to avoid all of the chipmunks ... they look pretty big and hungry out here ...

The Grand Canyon at Sunrise

The Grand Canyon

Wow ... Marjie and I just flew over this in a helicopter ...

Monument Valley, Navajo Nation

This has been one of my favourite days so far. Marjie and I slept out under the stars in the middle of the desert so that we could watch the sun rise in the valley. Before we tucked ourselves into our sleeping bag, one of the Navajo guides took us on a tour of the valley and gave us a demonstration of Native American dancing and singing.

In Telluride, CO

Hi all!

Yep, internet problems again! I'm hitting a whole load of national parks now and for the next couple of weeks and the internet is patchy at best. However, the views here more than make up for the lack of facilities!

When I get to Vegas I should have reliable enough internet to post some photos of the amazing places I've seen in the last few days. Watch this space!

Wish you were here!
